Ardbeg Limited 1990 Release

Ardbeg is a tiny village on the island of Islay (pronounced 'Eye-la') off the west coast of Scotland. Its Distillery has a proud history but by the mid-70s production was dwindling and it faced closure. Thankfully, and to the delight of Ardbeg aficionados around the world, Glenmorangie plc acquired the Distillery in 1997 and is restoring it to its former glory.

The renaissance of the Distillery is matched only by the fortunes of the Ardbeg expressions launched since then - all carefully selected to maximise the remaining, somewhat limited, whisky stocks.

This 1990 vintage bottling is essentially a 16 year old and has been created from ex-Bourbon barrels. So quickly grab what is possibly the most under priced vintage Ardbeg ever, whilst you still can.
