Bacardi Oro Rum's extended aging, between 3 and 5 years, further develops the initial gentle exchange of flavours from the charred wood.This process known as "esterification" infuses subtle nut, wood and dried fruit flavours as well as a natural golden amber colour.
Over 14 different Bacardi Rums of varying ages are blended together to make Bacardi Oro Rum.Our Master Blenders then use the skill and craftsmanship handed down through 7 generations of the Bacardi family to match the aroma, flavour and colour of an original recipe from 1862.
Bacardi Oro Rum is mellow in taste with impressions of vanilla and a balance of walnuts, spices and tropical fruit on a subtle background of oak.Its mellow and smooth finish gives it a perfect balance and has made it the preferred choice for many bartenders or a number of cocktails.
