With Boe Superior Gin made in the ancient hills of Doune in Scotland you can taste the real flavour of gin, distinctive, unique and refreshing. These cornerstones are in keeping with the vision held by gins Dutch creator, Franz de la Boe, in the 17th century. Boe Superior Gin is distilled is small batches. Boe Superior Gin is created using the old fashioned Carterhead still system which means the botanical vapours go through the liquid instead of being boiled in it.
The Botanicals.
The subtleties of Boë Superior Gin are all in the selection and preparation of its botanicals - that fine balance of herbs and spices so crucial to its distinctive taste and quality. Juniper berries and their flavoursome oils are at the heart of our gin distillation, but it takes many more elements to make Boe Superior Gin special. There is the aromatic Coriander and Angelica. Boe Gin includes Ginger, Orris Root and Cassia Bark - or Chinese cinnamon as it’s sometimes known, one of the oldest of all spices. Warmth and flavour come from the Grains of Paradise. Orange and Lemon peel are there too, together with Cardamom Seeds, Liquorice, Almonds and the peppery tones of the Cubeb Berry.
And the taste? Clean, spiced and strikingly refreshing.
