It all started in 1883 when Don Melchor de Concha y Toro, founder of this winery, brought back to Chile the most exclusive grape vines from the Bordeaux region of France.

These varieties developed extraordinarily well in the fertile Maipo Valley soil, achieving unexpectedly good results.

Appellation : Central Valley.
Aging : In stainless steel tanks for two months.
Colour : Ruby red, very vivid.
Nose : Cherry, ripe pepper and soft cacao aromas.
Taste : Elegant, rounded with good body and persistence.

Concha Y Toro Frontera Merlot can be enjoyed with pastas and fresh cheese.
