Fettercairn Distillery is one of the oldest in Scotland being established in 1824. The village of Fettercairn is situated in the 'Mearns' of Kincardineshire, with fertile agricultural lands at the foot of the Grampian Mountains. So for over 175 years it has continually produced its own unique and prized single malt whisky.
The colour of Fettercairn 1824 12 Year Old Malt Whisky is amber gold with a light stimulating fresh aroma with a hint of nutmeg and slightly dryish with notes of oak, vanilla and hints of malt. The flavour is nutty dryness, yet fresh with a toffee sweetness. Beautifully balanced with overtones of spice. Creamy and smooth.
