The exact origin of Licor 43 is lost in time, however. around the time of the founding of New Carthague, on the Iberian Peninsula, liqueurs typical of the Mediterranean region began to appear.
Spains leading liqueur has been made in Cartagena by Diego Zamora since 1924.
The name Licor 43 derives from the forty three ingredients that go to make up this fine liqueur.
With its smooth vanilla and cirtus flavours it is excellent on the rocks or in cocktails.
